FEATURES
-
01
While machining is performed with the 1st and 2nd spindles, loading is performed with the 3rd and 4th spindles.
-
02
A vertical lathe is more suitable than a horizontal lathe for transferring heavy and large parts.
Example
“Video showing three 4-spindle vertical lathes linked together with a gantry loader to transfer a large, heavy part”
-
03
This design enables loading to be performed easily when automating the process with a gantry loader or robot because the two spindles (chucks) at the loader side are exposed outside the machine cover.
-
04
A vertical lathe with a high operation rate close to 100% that is always creating chips, this significantly reduces the cycle time and improves productivity!
